As the core component of a car's electrical system, the battery's performance directly impacts the vehicle's starting efficiency and the functionality of electrical devices. For a new car battery, the first charge is particularly important as it determines the battery's capacity and lifespan. However, many users neglect this step, failing to fully activate the battery's chemical reactions, which results in suboptimal performance.
Older-fashioned batteries may require us to add electrolyte frequently. However, with the advancement of technology, maintenance-free batteries have now been used on a large scale. But even so, the battery is still a vulnerable part in the use of the vehicle, and the service life of the maintenance-free battery is generally about 4 years.
The electrolyte level should always be kept between max and min, check once a month, and add distilled water (pure water) appropriately according to the drop of the liquid level, do not add acid.
