Better Group and Huaqiao University Held the Internship Week with the Theme of “New Blood in the New Energy Era”

On July 21st, Better Technology Group Limited (hereinafter Better Group) and Preparatory Education College of Huaqiao University (HQU) successfully held the closing ceremony of Internship Week with the theme of“New Blood in the New Energy Era”which brought an perfect end to this five-day internship activity for 15 HQU exchange students in Better Group.

The purpose of this internship-themed activity is to provide a platform for the deeper cooperation between universities, colleges and enterprises to jointly promote the industry-education-research fusion. This Internship Week proves to be a practical experience to explore the new opportunities in the respect of multilingual communication facilitating the bonding of China and world and to build up the strength for the high-quality development of the industrial chain with the support of the high-tech talents.

During the five days of simulated internship activity, the HQU exchange students visited Better Group’s new energy lithium battery manufacturing plant and intelligent equipment factory, took some training courses such as technical theory of energy storage batteries, application scenarios, business apprenticeship. After that, they started to understand the development achievements made by Better Group in the field of energy storage batteries in recent years, and learned about some cutting-edge information about new energy.

On the first day of the activity, Better Group threw an opening ceremony in the theme of "New Blood in the New Energy Era". HR Supervisor Mrs. Hu delivered a speech on behalf of Better Group and sent her warm welcome to all international exchange students from Huaqiao University. In the speech, Mrs. Hu introduced Better Group’s strategic business layout and globalization marketing plans. “Better Group is well aware of the fact that excellent talents are the foundation for the ongoing development of any corporation. We hope that through this practical activity, with the guidance and training provided by our business colleagues in a more detailed way, you will be able to explore more of your passion and potential and of course acquire specific knowledge and experience in the emerging technologies concerning battery industry, which I believe will lead to a solid a foundation for your future endeavour to become an excellent person. I’m positive that our unique corporate charm will grow on you and you will become the witness and participant in the mission of let made-in-China beautify the world”, she added.

At the opening ceremony of Internship Week, there was a master-apprentice matching between Better Group mentors and HQU international exchange students. The mentors handed out the uniforms to the apprentices and announced the official start of the Internship Week.

Afterwards, the Internship Week host showed the exchange students around the company’s headquarter and gave them a detailed introduction about corporate development, corporate culture, products, applications & solutions, business scope and so on.

Shen Tian, the exchange student representative from HQU, said in her speech that many countries, such as the Republic of South Africa, are suffering from electricity shortage. For this case, Better Group’s battery equipment manufacturing and energy storage solutions can not only effectively solve this problem, but also bring great improvements to the local people's lives and the country's economic development. So she hoped that Better Group will bring the cutting-edge new energy technology and products to her country in the future to help and support them. Finally, on behalf of the international student team, she thanked Better Group for providing them with this valuable opportunity and said that they would actively participate in all the learning tasks in the coming days and work hard to make good results.

Learning & Practicing

In the following practical activities, Better Group sales team showed them around the new energy lithium battery manufacturing factory and intelligent equipment factory, conducted a training course on battery technology fundamentals, energy storage application multi-scenario solutions, and carried out on-site lectures and drills on the applications of energy storage batteries.

Through systematic learning and practice, the international exchange students gained an in-depth understanding about Better Group’s R&D strength and multi-scenario solutions for energy storage, and started to appreciate the advantages of Better Group’s intelligent products and multi-scenario solutions for energy storage. It's worth noting that during the training course, they all showed great interest in energy storage products.

In the practices of learning about applications in energy storage products, the international exchange students said that their countries are in need of new energy storage technology and the concept of sustainable development paradigm presented by Better Group is really appealing so they want to make actual moves to promote the low-carbon lifestyle in their counties. Besides, they expected that in the near future, energy storage technology will blaze a trail for long-term sustainable social development.

New Energy & Mutual Benefit

On July 21st, during the closing ceremony of Internship Week, representatives of Better Group management and instructors from HQU Preparatory Education College together presented every student with a training certificate and selected excellent trainees that were based on their overall performance during the Internship Week, which brought a perfect ending to this wonderful five-day journey.

Ms. Zhao, the instructor of Preparatory Education College of Huaqiao University, expressed her gratitude to Better Group for this internship opportunity. She said that this Internship Week was a valuable experience for students' career planning and she looked forward to deepening the industry-education cooperation between HQU and Better Technology Group Limited. Similarly, the Better Group’s spokesman also expressed the expectations in cooperating with HQU in the aspects of training, internship, job recruitment and local economic development and extended an olive branch to all the exchange students to start their job career in Better Group as a dream booster in the future for the sake of contributing to building a better future for global battery manufacturing.
