What is lead-acid battery?

What is the lithium battery?

01 Price differentiation

In terms of sales price, lead-acid batteries have obvious advantages. Lead-acid batteries cost about two-thirds of graphene batteries and one-third of that of lithium batteries, and because of the price advantage, lead-acid battery is currently the mainstream battery used in two-wheeled electric vehicles, with higher cost performance. The price of graphene battery is in the middle level, and the lithium battery is at a high level.


02 Difference in service life

The service life of batteries is the most concerned point for consumers when buying.

Currently, the average service life of lead-acid battery is about 2 years, with cycle lifes of 300~ 500 cycles; the average service life of graphene battery is about 3 years; and the lithium battery has a long service life, with cycle lifes of 700~ 1000 cycles, the battery can be replaced in about 4 years.

In the past two years, the spontaneous combustion phenomenon caused by electric vehicle batteries is mainly happened in electric vehicles equipped with lithium batteries, especially in many small workshops with private lithium batteries. As the density of the lithium battery inside is large, the heat resistance is poor, in case of overheating, such as summer or charging for too long, the load temperature will exceed, it may cause spontaneous combustion phenomenon. In particular, inferior lithium batteries should be more cautious in safety. And lead-acid battery stability is relatively high, generally there is very few spontaneous combustion phenomenon.

Lithium batteries are lighter than lead-acid batteries, which is more suitable for the pursuit of small and portable electric vehicle users, and lithium battery handling is also more convenient.

The warranty time of electric vehicle battery is an important standard that the owners can refer to in the replacement and purchase. The warranty period of lead-acid battery, graphene battery and lithium battery is very different, generally, lithium battery has the longest warranty time.

07 Battery maintenance tips

Large discharge

Charging order

Plug the battery plug, then the power plug; after charging, unplug the power plug and then the battery plug.


Long-term storage

When electric vehicles are not used for a long time, the battery should be charged once a month, and "power loss" for long-term storage.


Select the charger

Do not replace the charger casually, and try to use the original charger. If the original charger is damaged and cannot be used, please replace the regular charger with the matching model. Do not remove the speed limit of the controller, otherwise it will affect the service life of the battery

 

Long distance driving

Do not charge immediately after each long journey, you should first wait for the battery to cool for 10 to 30 minutes, and then charge, which can extend the service life of the battery.
