Jointly Promote Energy Construction For a Brilliant Future of China-Zambia

On September 7, 2024, the "Gulangyu Forum·World Business Leaders Discuss Global Investment" conference, hosted by the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, undertaken by the Xiamen Municipal Chamber of Commerce, and co-organized by the World Trade Center Association and the Fujian Provincial Chamber of Commerce, was successfully held. Xiamen Better Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as "Xiamen Better") was invited to participate and successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement on energy storage battery projects with the Southern Province of Zambia, which marks that the two sides will jointly promote pragmatic cooperation in Zambia's energy construction and inject strong momentum into further strengthening China-Zambia renewable energy cooperation and promoting energy transformation.

On September 9, in order to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two sides, His Excellency Credo Nanjuwa, Governor of the Southern Province of Zambia, and the government delegation, together with Mr. Zeng Shengjun, Deputy District Mayor of the People's Government of Jimei District, Xiamen, and Mr. Wu Ming, Executive President of the Zambian Overseas Chinese Association, visited Xiamen Better Technology Group for inspection and exchange. Mr. Liu Dewei, General Manager of Xiamen Better, and the group's senior executives warmly received and accompanied the visit.

The Governor of the Southern Province of Zambia, Mr. Credo Nanjuwa, and his delegation, led by the Xiamen Better team, visited the group's new energy lithium battery manufacturing plant and intelligent equipment factory, and learned in detail about our company's core business, technological innovation achievements, product application areas and overseas market strategic layout. They also held in-depth exchanges and discussions with relevant persons in charge of our company on topics such as strengthening cooperation in renewable energy and jointly promoting Zambia's energy transformation and upgrading.

During the meeting, Liu Dewei, general manager of Xiamen Better, delivered a welcome speech, sincerely welcomed the arrival of Mr. Credo Nanjuwa and his delegation, and thanked the Zambian government for its trust and support for Better. He said that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Zambia, and the friendship between the two countries has become stronger over time. Under the guidance of the important consensus of the two heads of state, Better will continue to play its advantages in the integration of the entire industrial chain in the field of energy and power, and solidly promote the energy storage battery project with the Southern Province of Zambia, in order to create higher-level, greener and warmer energy and power projects, and contribute corporate strength to jointly promote Zambia's energy construction and build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.
