2023 Better Group Management Mid-Year Conference
2023-07-27 18:00During July 6th to 8th 2023, Better Technology Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as Better Group) successfully concluded its mid-year conference and senior executives teamwork bonding activity in Longyan Gutian National Study and Research Institute and Gutian Congress Monument. The conference was attended by President Wei Yanping, General Manager Liu Dewei and other senior and middle management representatives. Besides, the executives from Better Group’s Overseas Project Management Department attended the conference via Internet.
This conference was themed of “Red Footprint—CPC Glorious Revolution History”. Inspired by the bravery and dedication of CPC glorious revolutionists, following the spiritual guidance of Gutian Congress, Better Group tried to deepen the connotation of corporate culture in order to shed light on the coming future and unify ideas and goals for stronger team cohesion. On the basis of summarizing the achievements and shortcomings in the work of the first half of the year, together we’ve worked on new goals and new plans for the second half of 2023 so as to achieve high-quality corporate development and inject more energy into Better Group.
BETTER Mid-Year Conference
In the first half of 2023, Better Group has achieved sound results in different aspects of the work and made considerable breakthroughs, such as the successful construction of new energy lithium battery manufacturing factory and intelligent equipment factory, the smooth contract signing and project cooperation with Zambian State Government, the continuous recruitment of top-notch talents, the progress made in R&D, the implementation of information management system, the improvements in our global business expansion strategies and last but not least the standardization process of management. The list can go on and on because Better Group’s potential is limitless.
At the beginning of the conference, President Wei made an important speech to expound on the corporate strategic planning, business tactics, talents recruitment strategy, corporate culture, core values, enterprise spirit, five-principle behaviors evaluation and related concepts, and the achievements made in the first half of the year. She said, “As an entire industrial chain service and solution provider for global battery manufacturing, despite some achievements we’ve made, the long journey ahead is still formidable.”
She stressed that all departments in the Better Group should cherish the spirit of CPC revolution, try to incorporate the great spirit of CPC founding aspiration and the revolutionary beliefs into the corporate development so as to optimize the organization and construction of the management team and also to strengthen the individual professional working performance.
To promote the corporate development, President Wei comes up with the following principles:
First, the senior management should develop a strategic planning thinking which is based on the current situations and long-term planning, so they can make right decisions to lead the department members to keep abreast of the corporate development strategy and market demands, and make their contribution to further the corporate core competitiveness to the international level.
Second, the development of the company is based on talents, so every department supervisor should always bear in mind the philosophy of talents-matter-most. It is crucial to stick to the principles of talents recruiting, talents developing, talents employing and talents retaining. Finally, we can establish a special, original method of talents employment pattern for Better Group.
Third, in our mind, we should try to eliminate the idea of departmentalism and try to follow the principles of value-creation-matters-most as our core concepts instead. We should always put customer demand first, focus on battery manufacturing industry, and strive to create added value for our customers and strategic partners all around the world.
Fourth, every department supervisor of the Better Group should keep their mind off the ideas of negative waiting, being excessively dependent on corporate support. It is of great necessity to continuously optimize the organization structure, unify our thoughts and goals, carry out solid work, focus on details, strengthen business synergies to generate concerted efforts, and eventually secure high quality annual production.
Later on, the supervisors and directors of all Better Group’s corporate departments together rendered the mid-year work reports on the aspects of department overall performance in the first half of 2023, the completion status of key work, problems and shortcomings in daily work, methods to achieve goals and secure sales increase, key work strategies and plans in the second half of 2023. In addition, as for corporate strategic planning, corporate culture, talents recruitment and training strategy and other constructive brainstorming discussions were also included in the mid-year management reports.
At the conference, management reached a consensus that in-depth corporate culture can really help to build an integrated team. Faith is like a beacon to light up every individual’s voyage. Faith is more than just responsibility or mere self-confidence; it is more of a kind of firm steady willpower to make you believe your career path and corporate potential; it is a sort of motivation to push you to achieve more and succeed in what you do. In the coming future, Better Group will adhere to the strategic goals and optimize the department team building in order to lay solid foundation in the follow-up work.
During the conference, Better Group’s corporate performance consultant Mr. Qiu, came up with the team work four-prongs-philosophy sc. Objective-Execution-Result-Performance so as to enhance the corporate performance management efficiency, and facilitate the implementation of strategies and eventually lay down a solid foundation for future development.
Team cohesion usually generates surprising morale and unity makes a team undefeated. During mid-year conference, an meaningful team building activity named Icebreaking was among the agenda. Every one in the game were deeply aware of the importance of team work because only by working together, can a group of people achieve mutual results.
A tree will be flourishing only if its roots go deep into the soil. The Mid-Year Conference and the Management Team Building Activity are both a profound summary of the first half of 2023 and an ideological deployment of work for the second half of the year. After the Icebreaking activity, Better Group’s management team went to the former site of the Gutian Congress Monument in Longyan Municipal City to pay tribute to the Holy Site of the CPC Revolution History whiling cherishing the memory of late pioneers’ endeavors. Inspired by the bravery and diligence of our late pioneers and revolutionary martyrs, we are now far more determined to further the corporate development and make our contribution to the society.
