Love the Elderly, Respect the Elderly, Help the Elderly. Better Tech Group Participated in Longshan Community Home Care Service Volunteer Activity

On the afternoon of 13^th September 2024, the Mid-Autumn Festival Afternoon Tea Party was successfully held in Longshan Community, which was guided by the Houxi Town Government, New Era Civilization Practice Institute and organized by the Longshan Community Party Branch, Neighborhood Committee, and Longshan Community Home Care Service Station. The trade union committee of Better Technology Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as Better Tech Group) actively organized a volunteer team consisting of Group employees to assist with this activity, send well-prepared Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, and pass on the deep care and warmth to the elders in the community.

On the day of the event, volunteers from Better Tech Group, dressed in uniform, worked closely with the community staff to set up the venue and ensure that every detail of the event was perfect. From the event seating, cultural performance, and interactive game to the tea-talking session, our volunteers patiently guided the elderly to participate in playing the games and delivered game prizes, actively maintained order at the scene, and assisted the community staff in restoring the scene decoration. Besides that, volunteers also sat around the table with the elders, listening to their Mid-Autumn Festival stories and anecdotes, and sharing festival joys.

The elders felt the love and warmth from society by this age-crossing companionship and communication, meanwhile Better Tech Group’s volunteers also deeply appreciated the significance of companionship and the value of public welfare.
